We're excited to have so many great designers using Showit to build sites for their clients.  If you're new to Showit please check out the details below for how to get involved in our designer community and how to use Showit as a designer.

Showit Designer Hub

Our Showit Designer Hub is a dedicated place for all Showit designers (with an active subscription) to ask questions from the community, attend live designer events, and continue learning how to use Showit as a professional designer.

How do I get access to the Showit Designer Hub?

You'll automatically receive an invite if you're an active subscriber and detected by our system to be using Showit to create designs for others. If you're not automatically invited (within a day of subscribing), please reach out to our team and let them know you're offering design services and you want to make sure Showit has you tagged as a Designer so you're included on all of our designer communications.

Getting Started as a Designer

Showit functions the same for both designers and creatives.  One important change from some other platforms is that each client does need to have their own Showit account and subscription.  As a designer we highly suggest you manage your own account (subscription required) to create the client designs, then share the design to your client's account once it's ready to launch.

Start earning free months of Showit by signing up for our Referral Program.

TIP: If you design in your own account first, it's good to know that media used in the site will carry over within the design, but it won't appear in the client's Media library. With this in mind it helps to stay organized with your media content in a folder on your computer so that you can import it to your client's account at the end. Here is the article for how to share a design from your account into a client's account.

Creating Designs

Start your client projects from one of our approved Designer Starter Templates including the license free designs created by Showit (including Simple, Monstera, Cartera, Fortitude).

  • Some designs found free in Showit are copyright of the listed designer and cannot be distributed in whole or part by another designer unless you are customizing a design at request of a client and provide credit for both parties as shown in our Copyright Guide.

Contributor Access

Get access to your client's account through our Contributor Access feature. Clients can add you as a contributor to their account and you're able to easily switch to access your client's account directly from your own account. (subscription required for both parties)

Our Design Partner Program

Our Showit Design Partner program recognizes experienced Showit designers who have produced consistently beautiful site designs, follow our design standards, and provide a great client experience. Design Partners are listed on our website, receive a free test blog for development, use of our Design Partner badge on their website, an exclusive community area in our Showit Designer Hub, and invites to exclusive events.
