The Jetpack plugin is a collection of useful components for your blog. This includes these basic functions and many more:

  1. Extra security

  2. Accelerator tools to speed up your blog 

  3. Analytics to see how many people visit your blog

  4. Google Adsense, Paypal and many other e-commerce options

  5. Adding Related Posts sections beneath your blog posts

  6. Creating a Tiled Gallery

Adding Jetpack


Basic Starter Blogs are pre-loaded with this plugin. Just click to activate the plugin.

Advanced Blog subscription users will need to add this plugin. You'll want to click on the Plugin tab and choose Add New. Then, search for Jetpack. Click Install and then Activate.

Once you have activated the Jetpack plugin, choose to Set up Jetpack.

Connect Your WordPress Account


You'll then be prompted to sign in to your WordPress account. If you don't already have one, create one now.

Once you are signed into your account, you'll need to click to Approve the set up. Make sure your blog is linked correctly.

Choose a Plan


You will be taken to a screen with a variety of Bundle options, as well as individual products from Jetpack. If you have a Basic Blog subscription, you must choose the free option at the bottom. For Advanced Blog subscriptions, you can choose which option best suits your needs.
