Using Blog Templates as pages on your site can be helpful when you're wanting to display blog content outside your homepage or your blog page. (If you are wanting to convert your homepage to a WordPress homepage, you can find how to do that here).
For instance, if you have an About page that you'd like to have your "featured" or "most recent" posts on, this is how you would do that!

Getting Started

First, you'll design your page under Blog Templates in Showit. You can start with a blank page, or you can simply copy your existing static Showit page to the Blog Template area:

Name the template what you want to see in your URL (i.e. About would be /about in the URL).

Go to Template Info tab in the right side Properties Panel and change the WordPress Template setting to Custom. In the field below, enter 'page-page-slug.' For example, the WordPress template setting for an About page would be:

Custom Template Name > page-about

WordPress Settings

Once you've got your new blog template looking the way you want with the proper template setting and name, you'll jump over to WordPress. You'll create a new page with exactly the same name as your corresponding blog template that you created
in Showit.

Now your page is ready to display your blog content! To setup a canvas to show blog content, you can find a great guide here.
